What are the reasons for considering preimplantation genetic testing
Since PGT was introduced some years ago for aneuploidy also known as PGT-A, has transformed IVF. PGT-A takes a biopsy of a few cells from an embryo’s outer layer to see if it is chromosomally healthy, with the correct amount of chromosome pairs inherited from the mother and father.
After that, the embryo is classified as either euploid (normal) or aneuploid (abnormal). The reasons to consider PGT-A include-
